Feeding the Children of Berwind West Virgina
|

God has called me along with others to feed the children of Berwind and though out the county of McDowell, West Virgina. This was a coal mining town but most of the mines are now closed down leaving many people out of work. My home church , Crossroads A/G along with Berwind A/G are trying to feed and cloth these young ones, ( their are over 500 children), and also purchase them a new toy for Christmas. For many of them this will be the only gift they will recieve. If you can help please send a check to Crossroads A/G 12 Edsall St. Hamburg NJ. 07419. Mark it for West Virgina. Northwest Christian To Help Children of McDowell

The children of Northwest Christian in Hampton NJ will be collecting food and new toys, ( for Christmas), for the Children of Berwind in McDowell County. We will make the trip down from NJ with some of the students who will help give the food out to the children and their parents in the Berwind area. If you would like to help with expenses or maybe some other way we would truly be greatful. Please pray for us as we get ready to go and do the work of the Lord.

Faith and Deeds

James 2; 14-18 (NIV) " What good is it , my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him " go I wish you well; keep warn and well fed ", but does nothing abot his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by its self, if it is not accompanied byaction, is dead. But if someone will say ," you have faith and ; andI have deeds." Show faith without dees and I'll show you my faith by what I do".
